I am almost done with REAL MOMS...REAL JESUS. I won it on Megan's blog! It is a great one for busy moms. Short chapters and great insight into a friend who understands!!
If you read my blog post yesterday, you will see my latest recommendation. Not a book on parenting, necessarily, but if I could have the wisdom that the Dad in the book shows, I'd be really happy.
Sounds like a great book. I've got a Barnes & Noble gift card I've been holding onto since Christmas - this looks like a good one to spend it on!
At this stage of life, it seems I don't read for fun anymore; mainly self-help type books about kids and marriage and things. The last couple books I've read have been "Finicky Eaters" about picky eaters of course, and "A Grace Disguised" about dealing with sudden loss. Both were very good and helpful on their particular topics.
Hello. I am a Christian, a wife to my best friend, Andy, and a mother to 4 blessings. I am thankful to be a stay-at-home mom and enjoy the pitter-patter of our children around our home (most days anyway :-) ). Thanks for stopping by!
